" What a Girl "

WE ARE FINALLY IN GUANGZHOU

Little Miss Darbee has been a trooper. When God placed Darbee in the Green household He knew she would have to be ready to travel. I do believe she has out done all of us. What a girl!

Darsee continues to do well. Today we had her medical appointment. She obviously has been to the Dr. before and was not amused. The second she looked at them, she went nuts!! We had a really nice day after that, we felt so sorry for Darbee the way she has been drug all over the place, we took her to the pool at the hotel and had a well deserved swim
It is hard to describe the heat here. WE are not strangers to Oklahoma heat but
this is so different. It is humidity like i really cannot describe. The second you walk outside
you are just drenched in sweat. Yesterday in Nanning we booked a car again and it took us to this village I had read about that they make alot of movies in. It is about an hour and a half out of nanning and it is almost perfectly preserved 400 year old village. People still live in these houses in a farming community. It was really interesting. What happened from what our guide explained to us, is that I think it is far enough away that it was just not on the Governments list of things to do. Time went by and nothing changed, then they figured out they had a diamond in the rough. A perfectly preserved village, almost frozen in time. That helped pass some of the time for us waiting to go to Guangzhou. We arrived very late here last night and now we are on the countdown to come home! Just 3 more days!! WE can't wait to see everyone.

By the way. Thanks everyone for the posts. This was the first we were able to view them and it was so very nice to read them. It made me homesick, but keep them coming. WE loved it. WEll we will post again soon and be home before lone. Love eveyone. Darra and David
